MediaNews Group is seeking a Staff Accountant to analyze revenue and expense accounts, prepare variance reports, and support annual budgets. This remote role requires residency in the United States with 10-25% travel to Denver; candidates should be able to work with Oracle SmartView and Oracle Cloud EPM.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required.
• Strong Excel skills with advanced lookup functions and conditional logic.
• Experience in financial modeling and forecasting.
• Ability to analyze variances and support planning processes.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring, and modeling for decision support.
• Improve performance by analyzing results and monitoring variances against plans.
• Work with Oracle SmartView and Oracle Cloud EPM reporting tools.
• Develop forecasts and models with strong quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Document financial processes and controls; prioritize multiple projects with minimal supervision.
