Job summary

Remote's SRE team exists so that our engineers can move quickly and our customers get a product that stays up. We are looking for a Team Leader to run that team.

This is a 60% IC, 40% leadership role, owning career development for reports and representing the team across engineering. You will stay close to the technical work to guide direction, balance operational load with project delivery, and help mature our reliability practices with SLOs and incident response.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading SRE/infrastructure/platform teams and growing talent.
• Hands-on background in site reliability, cloud infrastructure, and incident handling.
• Strong written communication for async, global teams.

Responsibilities

• The full career lifecycle of reports: onboarding, feedback, performance, progression and hiring.
• Maintain team health, dynamics and retrospective discipline.
• As team spokesperson to engineering and senior leadership; own SRE goals and on-call model.
