Job summary

Cvent, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Senior SRE Manager to lead a globally distributed Product SRE team. You will set strategy, mentor engineers, and own reliability, security, and cost efficiency across cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities include on-call leadership, collaboration with product engineering, and driving AI-enabled reliability tooling. You should bring 10+ years in tech and 5+ years in people management, with deep SRE expertise on AWS, Kubernetes, and modern platform practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing technology professionals.
• 10+ years of overall technology experience.
• Proven experience running large-scale distributed systems in AWS with container orchestration.
• Deep command of SRE principles and modern platform engineering practices.
• Excellence in technical team leadership with pairing and code review.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategy for the SRE team and shape the company-wide reliability program.
• Lead and mentor a distributed team of SREs, including code review and pairing.
• Own reliability, security posture, and cloud cost efficiency of the infrastructure.
• Be on call as escalation point and Incident Commander.
• Collaborate with product teams to define SLI/SLOs and improve delivery.
