Origami Risk is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to improve time to resolution and scale our SaaS platform. You will investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventative measures while coordinating with Cloud Operations, SRE, and Engineering teams.

You will configure and monitor observability tools, develop dashboards, and contribute to automation to reduce outages and performance challenges across client deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of proven Site Reliability Engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of SRE best practices and incident management.
• Experience with observability tools such as New Relic, Data Dog or SumoLogic.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure and cloud architectural patterns.
• Data-driven approach to incident analysis and problem-solving.
• Experience operating in a Public Cloud environment (AWS strongly preferred).
• Troubleshooting C#/.Net web applications and SaaS operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with CI/CD and IaC environments.

Responsabilités

• Leads post-incident investigations for the Site Reliability team.
• Performs in-depth post-incident analyses; identifies root causes and preventative measures.
• Drafts RCAs for customer delivery with clear findings.
• Cross-trains colleagues on observability tool usage during incidents.
• Provides visibility to stakeholders throughout the SRE process.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve scalability and stability.
• Develops client dashboards/alerts to identify performance challenges.
• Monitors and improves time-to-resolution metrics.
• Maintains core observability tools for incident response.
• Contributes to automation tools to streamline incident response.
• Partners with Cloud Operations, SRE, and Engineering teams to advance SaaS platforms.
