GPL Technologies is seeking a senior Site Reliability Engineer for a 3–6 month remote contract with a major visual effects studio. You will lead the next phase of observability by extending incident-response workflows from core infrastructure to production applications and services.

The role requires meeting with application teams to document monitoring tools, presenting findings, and guiding PoC plans, with a remote-first setup across the US/Canada.

Qualifications

• 5+ years senior SRE/DevOps experience with focus on monitoring and incident response.
• Experience with SaaS or on‑prem monitoring stacks (Datadog, Dynatrace, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Proven ability to map monitoring to incident response processes.

Responsabilités

• Meet with application teams to document monitoring, logging and APM usage.
• Present findings and timelines to stakeholders in weekly check-ins.
• Collaborate with infrastructure SRE to integrate app monitoring into incident response.
• Propose PoC options with cost estimates for platforms or multiple tools.
• Support PoC or implementation as scope allows.
