Job summary

Lumin Digital is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to champion reliability, automation, and scalable platforms across all environments. The role emphasizes building robust CI/CD pipelines, eliminating manual tasks, and maintaining SLOs with cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software engineering, strong knowledge of TypeScript, Go, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred). On-call readiness and a security mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer with TypeScript and Go.
• Strong automation, configuration management, and IaC experience.
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Proficient with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Familiar with CI/CD workflows and incident response.
• Excellent communication and agile/scrum experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and document software solutions to site reliability challenges.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency.
• Monitor and resolve issues in all environments, ensuring SLO and uptime targets are consistently met.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers to address SRE concerns during feature design and deployment.
• Build, maintain, and support the local development environment on macOS and Windows.
• Participate in capacity planning and demand forecasting to proactively address performance bottlenecks and scalability needs.
• Perform change management to maintain system stability and minimize disruptions.
• Generate uptime and SLO reports for internal review and leadership visibility.
• Engage in SRE scrum team activities to drive agile development processes.
• Ensure security best practices are followed, safeguarding data integrity and system resilience.
