Job summary

NationsBenefits, LLC is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II (SRE) to ensure availability, reliability, and performance of production platforms. You will monitor systems, respond to incidents, and drive automation in a cloud-native environment.

Collaborate with Development, DevSecOps, and Engineering teams to maintain high availability while supporting healthcare and fintech services. Remote-US based role with weekday follow-the-sun support.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Support.
Hands-on incident response, troubleshooting, and escalation experience.
Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring platforms.
Strong Kubernetes experience including monitoring and workloads.
Experience with Docker or container technologies.
Working knowledge of SQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases.
Ability to operate in high-volume production environments.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to work weekday shifts for global Follow-the-Sun support.

Responsibilities

Serve as first responder for production incidents and triage issues.
Monitor application health, performance, and availability; tune alerts.
Troubleshoot Kubernetes and containerized apps; manage deployments and rollbacks.
Develop automation scripts and tooling (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Java, C#).
Support CI/CD pipeline reliability and self-healing initiatives.
Collaborate with global engineering teams and improve monitoring and processes.
Document incidents and post-incident reviews; ensure compliance.
