Job summary

RegEd is seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) to provide operational and application database services. You will own, track, and resolve database incidents, monitor health, backups, and security, and collaborate across teams to improve efficiency and reliability.

The role requires hands-on experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, backup/recovery, and cloud databases. A hybrid/remote setup is supported, with growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of database administration, development, or equivalent experience.
• Strong SQL Server skills and backup/recovery knowledge.
• Experience with on-premise and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain database objects including indexes, views, stored procedures, tables, and other schema elements in on-premise and cloud environments.
• Monitor and maintain database health by reviewing backup status, maintenance jobs, index health, and daily operational alerts.
• Perform database user and security management: create logins, roles, and access privileges; support compliance.
