Job summary

CenterWell Pharmacy is seeking a Staff Specialty Operations Pharmacist to apply clinical and operational knowledge to processing specialty prescription orders for home delivery. You will handle inbound calls with providers and patients and resolve escalated issues.

This remote role requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, active Pharmacist license in AZ/FL/OH/TX, 2+ years of practice in high-volume settings, and the ability to work independently within established guidelines.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree (PharmD or BS) from an accredited college.
• Active Pharmacist license in AZ, FL, OH, or TX.
• Must reside and work full-time within AZ, FL, OH, or TX.
• 2+ years of pharmacist experience in a high-volume setting.
• Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound calls from patients and providers to review prescriptions for accuracy.
• Check for drug interactions and use guidelines to support decisions.
• Apply problem-solving skills for professional decision-making.
• Follow established guidelines and department procedures on assignments.
