Zusammenfassung

CenterWell Pharmacy is seeking a Staff Specialty Operations Pharmacist to apply clinical and operational knowledge to ensure compliant processing of specialty medication orders mailed to patients' homes and/or provider offices. You will receive inbound calls from providers, patients and teammates to solve clinical and escalated issues, including drug interactions, therapy regimens and medication stability.

Qualifikationen

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy (Bachelor of Science or PharmD).
• Active PHARMACIST license from the Arizona, Florida, Ohio, OR Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• You must reside and work full time within the state of Arizona, Florida, Ohio, OR Texas.
• 2 or more years of experience as a pharmacist in a high-volume retail, hospital, specialty or mail order pharmacy practice environment.
• Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs.
• Excellent verbal and written skills with ability to communicate effectively within the team and to patients or caregivers.
• Proficient in computers and comfortable trouble‑shooting technology issues.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and OneNote.

• Receive inbound phone calls from patients and providers to review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness of therapy.
• Check for drug interactions and use resources/guidelines to support decision-making.
• Use problem-solving skills and ability to use resources for professional decision-making.
• Work on assignments that vary and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action while following established guidelines and department procedures.
• Make decisions with minimal direction, occasionally in ambiguous situations and receive guidance where needed.
