Job summary

CenterWell Pharmacy is hiring a Staff Specialty Operations Pharmacist to apply clinical and operational knowledge for processing specialty prescription orders mailed to patients or provider offices. You will handle inbound calls from providers and patients, resolve issues, and ensure therapy safety and stability.

Requirements include a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, active license in AZ/FL/OH or TX, and 2+ years in a high-volume setting. Remote work from one of the eligible states is supported.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree and active license in AZ, FL, OH or TX.
• Must reside and work full-time in one of the allowed states.
• 2+ years of pharmacist experience in high-volume settings.
• Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient in computer use.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness of therapy.
• Check for drug interactions and reference guidelines for decisions.
• Demonstrate problem-solving using available resources.
• Perform tasks varying in scope with guidance as needed.
• Make decisions with minimal direction, including in ambiguous cases.
• Work independently and in a team to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a strong work ethic in a productive environment.
