Job summary

Optum is seeking an Associate Specialty Implementation Manager to drive the setup and ongoing service delivery for select clients. This role blends project coordination, client liaison, and operational analysis to ensure successful implementation and handoffs. The position is remote across the U.S.

with scheduling aligned to business hours; occasional travel may be required for on-site visits. You will partner with cross-functional teams to optimize client systems and deliver measurable health

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Pharmacy Benefit Management or Healthcare Management experience.
• 1+ years working in a client management or client implementation role.
• Must be able to work full-time Monday–Friday during normal business hours (8am–5pm local time).

Responsibilities

• Manages Specialty implementation for the least complex Optum Rx clients (e.g., UMR, MedalistRx, some TPAs).
• Acts as outward-facing resource for multiple assigned accounts with minimal direct client contact.
• Builds relationships with clients or internal client representatives.
• Represents client internally and coordinates with other functions to implement client systems and services.
• May travel to client sites or OptumRx service centers (<10%).
• Analyzes reports to determine client trends and implements appropriate programs.
