Job summary

Reserv is seeking a Team Lead for its claims operation, focusing on supporting a Claims Manager and guiding the Commercial Auto Claims staff. The role balances leadership and hands-on claims work, driving efficiencies through technology and analytics while nurturing a strong, inclusive remote-first culture.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in insurance claims and 3+ years leading teams, with an active adjuster license and a proven track record of coaching and performance improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of insurance claims experience in multiple lines, preferably auto with BI experience.
• 3+ years of leadership, with preference for remote-management experience.
• Active adjuster license in resident state or DHS; willing to obtain missing licenses within 60 days.
• Technology-savvy with ability to evolve claims systems and processes.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; professional designations are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Commercial Auto Claims team under the Claims Manager.
• Balance management duties with individual contributor work during peak volumes.
• Develop and present claims metrics and analyses to clients; advise on trends and loss mitigation.
• Onboard, train, and supervise direct reports; foster team development and a positive remote culture.
• Serve as SME for first-line questions, escalations, and roundtable discussions.
