Oregon Connections Academy seeks a Special Education Teacher to deliver specially designed instruction from your home office in Oregon. You will virtually manage instructional programs for students with special needs and coordinate IEPs and related services.

Responsibilities include developing IEPs/504 plans, monitoring progress, communicating with IEP teams and families, and providing direct services via web conferences as needed. Travel for events may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Special Education or related Education Field.
• Experience in IDEA policy or administration with Special Education.
• Strong technology skills with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Highly organized and punctual.
• Customer-centric.
• Flexible and agile in fast-paced environments.
• Team player with a track record.
• Willingness to travel for events (occasional overnight).
• Ability to work remotely.

Responsabilités

• Manage instructional guidance and teaching for a caseload of students needing direct/indirect services.
• Develop, write, implement, and monitor IEPs and 504 plans.
• Monitor student progress, complete report cards, and conduct parent conferences.
• Communicate with IEP team, parents/learning coaches, and related service providers.
• Provide direct services via web-conferencing when needed.
• Schedule and conduct IEP-related meetings virtually.
• Support Student Support Team with program modifications and strategies.
• Assist with paperwork and procedures for the IEP process.
• Coordinate related service providers as mandated by IEPs.
• Maintain data in LMS and special education software.
• Assist with administering state testing and required adaptations.
