Qualifications

• Active CMA certification from a recognized national body (NHA/AAMA/NCCT/NAHP).
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and diagnoses.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathetic with patients and able to explain healthcare options clearly.
• Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate enrollment documents.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple enrollments and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through enrollment for healthcare programs with accurate documentation.
• Evaluate eligibility for programs based on age, conditions and criteria.
• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations to explain program benefits.
• Record enrollment details and eligibility in EHR or designated systems.
• Monitor enrollment progress and communicate with patients and stakeholders.
• Educate patients about the healthcare programs offered by Medsien.
• Maintain privacy and HIPAA compliance in all processes.
• Stay updated on program changes and communicate updates to patients.
• Collaborate with providers, insurers and social workers to ensure enrollment.
