Job summary

Medsien seeks a skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join as Care Partner, bilingual Arabic/English, helping patients enroll in healthcare programs. You will maintain accurate records, educate patients, and coordinate with practices across the U.S.

This remote, full-time position requires monthly patient contact, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with care teams to ensure smooth enrollments and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active CMA certification from a nationally accredited body (NHA, AAMA, NCCT, NAHP, etc).
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and diagnoses.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with clear patient explanations.
• Empathy and compassion in patient interactions; maintains confidentiality.
• Keen eye for detail to ensure accurate enrollment documentation.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple enrollments and deadlines.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Maintain professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct with patient data.
• Team-oriented, flexible, and able to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Patient Enrollment: Guide patients through enrollment for healthcare programs with accurate documentation.
• Program Eligibility Assessment: Evaluate eligibility based on criteria such as age or medical conditions.
• Patient Consultation: Conduct consultations to gather information and explain program benefits.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Record enrollment details in EHR or designated systems.
• Follow-Up and Coordination: Track enrollment progress and coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate enrollment.
• Patient Education: Explain healthcare programs clearly to patients.
• Compliance and Privacy: Adhere to HIPAA and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Program Updates: Communicate changes and new offerings in healthcare programs to patients.
• Collaborative Approach: Work with providers, insurers, social workers, and others to ensure enrollment.
