The ideal candidate speaks Spanish and English fluently, has strong medical terminology knowledge, and excels in compassionate patient communication.

Qualifications

• Active CMA certification from a nationally accredited body.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and diagnoses.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through enrollment processes for healthcare programs with complete documentation.
• Evaluate patient eligibility for programs based on provided criteria.
• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations explaining program benefits and requirements.
• Document enrollment details and eligibility assessments in EHRs or designated systems.
• Monitor enrollment progress, communicate with patients, and coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate enrollment.
• Provide clear explanations of healthcare programs to patients.
• Adhere to HIPAA and privacy regulations to maintain confidentiality.
• Stay informed about changes to programs and communicate updates to patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurers, social workers, and others to ensure smooth enrollment.
