Job summary

Mercor is seeking native Spanish speakers to evaluate AI-narrated audiobooks for US/North American Spanish audiences. This remote, part-time role offers ~20 hours per week with flexible scheduling.

You will listen carefully, log pronunciation or transcription issues, and categorize errors to help improve narration models. Prior annotation or linguistics experience is a plus, but careful listening is essential.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Spanish (US) with audiobook listener background.
• Some English ability to report clearly to the team.
• Experience with annotation, labeling, transcription, proofreading, linguistics, or detail-oriented review work.

Responsibilities

• Listen to AI-narrated Spanish audiobooks and assess naturalness, accuracy, and enjoyment.
• Log errors in synthesis: skipped, added, or mispronounced words.
• Categorize issues and mark exact spans in review tooling.
• Report on listener satisfaction and where narration feels natural or breaks.
• Work consistently across many hours with attention to detail.
