Job summary

Muon Space is offering a summer internship in the Legal team to work on commercial space law, regulatory policy, and government contracts. The role is remote, full-time, and open to 1Ls and 2Ls with no space-law experience required.

You will support licensing, contracting, and export controls while collaborating with seasoned attorneys and regulatory specialists. In addition to immediate mentorship and hands-on projects, the internship provides exposure to a broad range of regulatory matters

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a J.D. program (1Ls and 2Ls welcome).
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Genuine interest in space, technology, or government contracting.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain regulatory compliance matrices that track license conditions, reporting obligations, and procedures
• Support the broader Legal and Contracts team with research and administrative work on commercial agreements, government contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements
• Conduct legal, regulatory, and market research and synthesize findings into clear written summaries and recommendations
• Assist with additional legal, corporate and regulatory projects as they come up, including filings, process documentation, and export-compliance recordkeeping
