Muon Space is a fast‑growing startup providing end‑to‑end space systems and satellite data capabilities. As a Legal Intern you’ll work directly with attorneys on licensing, government contracting, export controls, and regulatory policy.

This full‑time, remote internship runs May through September, welcomes 1Ls and 2Ls, and offers hands‑on exposure to commercial space law while contributing to real projects that shape Muon’s operations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a J.D. program (1Ls and 2Ls welcome).
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented.
• Genuine interest in space, technology, or government contracting.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain regulatory compliance matrices that track license conditions, reporting obligations, and procedures.
• Support the broader Legal and Contracts team with research and administrative work on commercial agreements, government contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements.
• Conduct legal, regulatory, and market research and synthesize findings into clear written summaries and recommendations.
• Assist with additional legal, corporate and regulatory projects as they come up, including filings, process documentation, and export‑compliance recordkeeping.
