Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Space Force Technical Director to lead capability validation, solution development, and executive-level customer discussions. The role focuses on on-contract execution for Space Force programs, driving architecture reviews, DoW-compliant configuration management, and the integration of level-setting C2 systems for space operations.

Remote work with selective on-site collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS degree in a technical or scientific field and 12+ years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum ten years of progressively responsible experience in relevant technical disciplines, including DoW, IC, or national security space programs.
• Experience (at least 5 years) in three of the listed areas with expertise in at least one.
• Extensive experience in architecture, development, and integration of command & control systems for space operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead initial capability validation and solution development and verification with customer-facing outputs.
• Engage in executive-level discussions to align Leidos capabilities with customer missions.
• Develop white papers, RFI responses, proposals, and briefings to demonstrate thought leadership.
• Support on-contract execution and growth of SF agency contracts with a focus on requirements decomposition and architecture review.
• Facilitate DoW compliant configuration management programs and validate alignment with customer needs.
• Assist capture strategy development through technical leadership and value propositions.
• Draft OV-1 and initial solution elements for customer validation.
