Job summary

SAIC seeks a growth-driven Director to lead defense space market development, focusing on Global Mission Data Dominance with the US Space Force. You will drive strategy, capture activities, and executive-level engagement to support Space Battle Management and C2 opportunities.

Remote role with preference for candidates in DMV, CO and CA. You will manage cross-functional teams and shape market positioning while delivering enterprise-wide opportunities and profitability in the defense space sector.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in space business development including strategy and capture
• Front-end customer engagement with US government opportunities
• Proven track record in bid/proposal development for DoD
• Top Secret clearance eligible
• Strong communication, leadership and team-building skills

Responsibilities

• Pipeline development to align with Air Force and Space/Intel goals
• Shape and execute long-term growth strategies (Space C2, mission integration)
• Develop capture plans, price-to-win strategies, and value propositions
• Foster internal/external relationships to deliver space solutions
• Build high-level partnerships with government and industry decision-makers
• Enhance SAIC’s market visibility through thought leadership
