Job summary

SES Space & Defense is seeking a proactive Business Development leader to expand our presence with the DoD, IC, and related government partners. You will translate mission needs into space and connectivity solutions, building trusted relationships across engineering, PM, and leadership to drive revenue and long-term value.

You will shape capture strategies, coordinate cross-functional teams, and steward opportunities from initial engagement through to bookings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ years of business development or government market experience.
• Experience with DoD, IC, NASA, or related agencies is preferred or the ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Expand SES Space & Defense’s presence with DoD and IC customers.
• Develop and execute capture strategies and market campaigns.
• Coordinate with PM, Engineering, Product, and leadership to shape opportunities and revenue growth.
• Maintain bookings forecasts and ensure CRM data is current.
• Attend meetings and industry events to identify opportunities.
