Job summary

SES Space & Defense seeks a results-driven Manager, Business Development to expand our footprint with DoD, IC, and other federal customers in the United States. You will shape capture strategies and drive revenue growth through strategic relationships and targeted campaigns.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, and Product teams to align customer needs with SES capabilities, maintain accurate bookings forecasts in CRM, and visit customers to nurture partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Cyber, Intelligence, or related field.
• 5+ years in BD, capture, or government market.
• Experience with DoD/IC agencies and government contracting processes.
• Ability to obtain DoD clearance preferred or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Expand the customer base by developing new relationships across DoD, IC, and other federal agencies.
• Develop and execute short- and long-range market campaign plans to achieve financial objectives and support product and service innovation.
• Partner with Program Management, Engineering, Product, and other internal teams to coordinate customer engagement activities and market strategies.
• Attend customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows as required.
