Job summary

Atlassian enables flexible work locations for its employees, and the Manager of the Commercial Solutions Engineering team for DX will lead a high-performing group of technical advisors dedicated to growing the DX product within mid-market and commercial sectors. You will coach SEs through fast sales cycles, partner with Sales, CS, Product, and Engineering, and help map DX capabilities to business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Pre-Sales/Solutions Engineering, with at least 2+ years in a formal leadership or team lead capacity.
• Proven track record of driving sales cycles and managing a volume of opportunities within mid-market or commercial accounts.
• Experience building or refining scalable technical sales processes designed for speed and repeatability (e.g., rapid POC scoping documents, standardized technical discovery templates).
• Deep understanding of the SDLC, DORA metrics, and the SPACE framework; ability to discuss with VPs/CTOs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing Solutions Engineers team; recruit, onboard, and mentor.
• Drive Pre-Sales strategy and deal support with Account Executives and Sales Leadership.
• Standardize and scale POC playbooks, demos, and pre-sales workflows to improve efficiency and win rates.
• Allocate SE resources across a high-velocity pipeline balancing workloads with deal requirements.
• Advocate for customers in leadership meetings; collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering on roadmap items.
• Define and track KPIs for the SE team to align with revenue targets and sales goals.
