Job summary

Koalafi is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to be the end-to-end technical owner of integrations with external partners and merchants. You will design integration paths, guide partner teams, validate implementations, and keep integrations healthy in production.

You’ll collaborate with business development, product, and engineering to unblock deals, expand platform support, and improve merchant experience. Remote-friendly US role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years in a technical, client-facing role such as Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Integration Engineer, or Technical Consultant.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento) or POS systems is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop mastery of every integration we offer — the full set of features, every existing partner implementation, how each is configured, and what makes each one unique.
• Build an end-to-end understanding of Koalafi's products beyond the integration layer: how an application moves from origination through approval, checkout, and funding, and how our internal systems interact along the way.
• Own each new integration end to end; starting with Discovery and continuing through the build, QA and release of that new integration.
• Keep our existing implementations running by supporting rollouts to new merchants and partnering with sales to identify new areas of engagement.
• Be the first line of defense for any partner submitted issues, leveraging observability tools to triage and prioritize partner submitted tickets.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Sales to identify enhancement opportunities in existing integrations, and own those enhancements through completion.
• Continuously look for ways to improve how we work internally, and own the rollout and adoption of the improvements you design.
