Job summary

Ottimate is seeking a Solutions Engineer to own the technical side of deals in a remote-first environment. You will run discovery with the AE, build customer-focused demos, and scope ERP integrations across Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, NetSuite, and more.

You’ll work with sales, onboarding, and product across hospitality, grocery, healthcare, and accounting firms, translating complex data into clear value and helping close multi-entity opportunities. Expect up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Experience building customer-specific demos tied to buyer workflow.
• Experience scoping ERP integrations (Sage Intacct, NetSuite, QuickBooks).
• Ability to read API docs, test calls, and connect ERP/POS to Ottimate.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted prep and demo asset creation.
• Ability to review vendor data and maps to identify complexity and risk.

Responsibilities

• Partner with AEs on discovery to quantify pain points and outcomes.
• Build and deliver customer-specific demos.
• Scope ERP integrations and how invoices flow into ERP.
• Work hands-on with APIs and test integration calls.
• Create lightweight tools or scripts as needed.
• Review customer data for complexity and risk before adopting.
• Map current AP processes to Ottimate workflows.
• Write scope and handoff notes to onboarding.
• Handle technical objections in multi-entity deals.
• Support upsell and product feedback through the sales cycle.
• Prepare for calls using AI and improve demo assets.
• Help improve SE playbooks and participate in events.
