Job summary

Nextiva is seeking a Solutions Consultant to lead the technical sales of our platform, acting as the technical lead throughout the sales process and coordinating with Product, Engineering, and Service teams.

You will design tailored product demonstrations, own POC engagements, and respond to RFPs/RFIs while collaborating with Account Executives on strategy and deal planning. This role requires ongoing learning of new tech and secure, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical consulting role.
• Knowledge in UCaaS/CCaaS/CRM, SIP/VOIP, AI, APIs, Automation; integration patterns like Workato/Redox.
• Able to present confidently to technical and business stakeholders.
• Familiar with Nextiva's competitive landscape (RingCentral, Five9, Genesys, Zoom).
• Fundamental knowledge of Python, JSON, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
• Use AI to enhance personal workflows and automate repetitive tasks.
• Willing to travel up to 20%.
• Bonus: knowledge in Data Security & Privacy (HIPAA, PCI, GDPR); Spanish or French; Lucidchart, Dialogflow, Teams, WhatsApp, Google G-Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery to uncover customer requirements, pain points, and success criteria.
• Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations.
• Foster relationships with partners to enhance solutions.
• Own POC engagements, including scoping and success criteria.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs and security questionnaires.
• Partner with Account Executive on account strategy and deal planning.
• Act as the technical voice of the customer back to Product and Engineering.
• Stay up to date on new technologies, security & compliance.
