Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking an experienced VMware Cloud Foundation Infrastructure Architect to lead planning, deployment, management and operation of VCF infrastructure components, including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and Aria products.

You will guide customers as a SME, design scalable management and workload domain architectures, and mentor consultants on VCF solutions. The role emphasizes senior technical leadership, complex troubleshooting, and collaboration with clients to optimize private

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience implementing and configuring vSphere environments.
• Experience designing, deploying and configuring NSX and NSX migrations.
• Experience designing, deploying and configuring data center networks including VLANs, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Senior skills with designing, installing and configuring disaster recovery solutions using Site Recovery Manager and VMware Live Recovery.
• Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
• 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture or software engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead customer consulting projects focused on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) private cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to identify VCF opportunities.
• Plan, Deploy, Manage and Operate VMware Cloud Foundation; size infrastructure for management components and workload domains.
• Design, deploy and configure VMware vSAN clusters in a vSphere environment.
• Hands-on installation and configuration of Aria Operations, dashboards and alerts, and Log Insight.
• Experience deploying Aria Automation, configuring service catalogs, and integrating Orchestrator.
• Mentor and manage consultants on VCF solutions.
• Identify trends and deliver solutions across VMware products.
