Tapcart is seeking a Solutions Engineer to lead the technical side of sales and onboarding for Shopify brands. You will scope integrations, run technical discovery, and own partner onboarding end-to-end, coordinating with Sales, Product, and partner developers.

You’ll translate merchant needs into clear specs, interface with agencies, and help drive fast, valuable implementations while maintaining close merchant relationships.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in solutions engineering or similar technicalsales-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of web/mobile commerce architecture (APIs, webhooks, data integrations).
• Ability to scope ambiguous asks into clear specs and provide actionable paths.
• Bonus: Shopify experience (Liquid, Storefront/Admin APIs) or agency background.

Responsibilities

• Partner with AEs as technical lead on prospect deals and expansions.
• Conduct technical discovery on prospect stacks and map to an onboarding path.
• Own onboarding process end-to-end for developers and agencies.
• Write integration specs and review partner deliverables.
• Feed partner/customer needs into Product roadmap as input.
