Tapcart is a lean, autonomous team building a mobile commerce engine powering Shopify brands. You will lead the technical aspects on prospect and expansion deals, scope integrations, and onboard external developers end-to-end. Expect collaboration with Sales, Product, and partners to ship integrations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in solutions engineering or related roles, with Shopify ecosystem experience and strong API/webhook know-how, plus a remote-friendly setup in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or a partner/developer-facing technical role in ecommerce/SaaS/Shopify ecosystem.
• Strong working knowledge of web and mobile commerce architecture: APIs, webhooks, data integrations, and what is configurable vs. custom.
• Ability to scope ambiguous asks into a clear spec and communicate options clearly.

Responsabilités

• Partner with AEs as the technical lead on prospect and expansion deals, scoping native vs. custom integrations.
• Run technical discovery on a brand's stack and map it to a clear launch path.
• Own onboarding for external developers and agency partners—docs, environments, sandbox, engagement rules.
• Write specs for integrations and reviews partner deliverables against them.
• Provide structured feedback to Product on recurring partner and customer needs for the roadmap.
