Job summary
Tapcart Inc. is seeking a solutions-focused technical lead to partner with AEs on prospect and expansion deals, scoping integrations and turning stacks into a clear path to launch.
You will own onboarding for external developers and agencies, write specs, review deliverables, and feed partner needs back to Product for the roadmap. This role blends sales, engineering, and merchant-facing work with autonomy.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or a partner/developer-facing technical role - ecommerce, SaaS, or Shopify ecosystem strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Partner with AEs as the technical lead on prospect and expansion deals - scoping what's native vs. custom, and giving buyers the confidence to sign
- Run technical discovery on a brand's stack (Shopify plan, headless, subscription, loyalty, CDP, ESP) and turn it into a clear path to launch
- Own the external developer and agency partner onboarding process end to end - docs, environment setup, sandbox access, rules of engagement
- Author specs for integrations and custom builds, review partner deliverables against them, and unblock developers as they build
- Feed recurring partner and customer needs back to Product as structured input for the roadmap
