Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Specialist Solutions Architect – Data Engineering & Warehousing to lead enterprise data transformations on the Databricks platform. You will guide customers through production pipelines, lakehouse architectures, and performance optimizations while partnering with Solutions Architects on pre-sales engagements.

This remote role requires deep expertise in data streaming, data warehousing, and SIEM-aware observability, with the ability to travel up to 30% as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical role with deep data engineering and warehousing expertise.
• Hands-on experience with streaming tech (Spark Streaming, Kafka), batch ingestion, performance tuning.
• Experience migrating data warehouses across OLAP/OLTP systems and tuning queries.
• Familiarity with data observability, telemetry, and SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Elastic, Sentinel).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to guide enterprise data engineering transformations.
• Architect production-ready pipelines and demonstrate platform value through end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects on pre-sales engagements and custom POCs.
• Lead workshops and community sessions to promote adoption of the Databricks Platform.
