Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Specialist Solutions Architect specialized in Data Engineering & Warehousing to guide enterprise customers through cloud data transformations, design lakehouse architectures, and optimize analytics workloads.

In a remote, customer‑facing role, you will mentor peers, lead technical evaluations, and collaborate with pre‑sales and field teams to deliver production‑quality pipelines on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical role with deep data/engineering expertise.
• Experience with data lake architectures and modern lakehouse platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Spark, streaming, and data ingestion.
• Strong SQL and at least one language (Python/Scala/Java).
• Experience with data warehousing/migration across OLAP/OLTP systems.
• Knowledge of data observability, security, and SIEM tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to enterprise customers building large-scale data pipelines and warehousing workloads.
• Architect production-ready pipelines and demonstrate platform value through testing and optimization.
• Lead and mentor teams; collaborate with Solutions Architects on pre-sales engagements.
• Deliver workshops, hackathons, and community contributions to drive adoption.
