Job summary

XTIUM is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to design and deliver advanced IT solutions for enterprise clients. You will partner with sales, engineering, and leadership to translate business needs into scalable architectures.

You will lead POCs, develop detailed quotes and SOWs, and guide delivery across cloud, CCaaS, unified communications, and managed services. The role emphasizes strategic thinking, strong communication, and collaboration in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
5-10 years of experience in solution architecture, pre-sales engineering, or technical consulting within the IT managed services industry.
Deep technical expertise in cloud, unified communications, CCaaS, managed networks and security services.
Ability to architect and design complex, scalable IT solutions that align with customer goals.
Strong networking, security, and cloud computing knowledge.
Proven ability to translate technical concepts into business value through proposals and SOWs.
Excellent consultative selling skills and ability to build trusted advisor relationships.
Experience leading POCs and delivering technical demonstrations.
Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Relevant certifications (Azure, Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, VMware) preferred.

Responsibilities

Architect innovative, scalable, and secure solutions across XTIUM’s service offerings.
Collaborate with sales teams to understand client needs and improve win rates and certifications.
Engage with customers to identify challenges and develop tailored solutions.
Create detailed Quotes and Statements of Work (SOWs) translating features into business value.
Lead customer POCs and lab demos to validate solutions.
Analyze and optimize solutions for current and future opportunities.
Assist sales in identifying competitive threats and craft compelling messaging.
Train internal teams on product demos and use of demo environments.
Partner with internal teams and vendors to ensure successful delivery.
Maintain communication with sales and customers throughout the sales cycle.
Identify upsell opportunities and drive revenue growth.
Report progress to leadership weekly and quarterly.
Represent XTIUM as a technical expert and trusted advisor.
