Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler to develop and maintain integrated EPC schedules for PV solar, battery storage, and high voltage substation projects. The role involves travel to regional jobsites and coordination with engineering, procurement, and field teams.

This position is fully remote with interview details discussed during the process. You will use P6 to build schedules, perform quantity take-offs for durations, update schedules twice monthly, and provide reports.

Responsibilities

• Use P6 to develop and maintain EPC project schedules.
• Assist in planning the project by analyzing documents, drawings, contracts to form schedule basis.
• Perform basic quantity take-offs to establish activity durations and maintain related files.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project management and field teams for feedback.
• Seek feedback from owners and consultants to improve schedule buy-in and accuracy.
• Ensure sound logic and CPM-based durations in schedules.
• Attend meetings to understand issues, get updates and address schedule challenges.
• Update schedule at least twice a month with actuals and deviations.
• Communicate updates and maintain reports in Teams and SharePoint.
• Maintain delay log documenting delays from development to completion.
• Record weather delays in P6 vs NOAA monthly.
• Perform what-if analyses, change orders and claims.
• Train field personnel in scheduling procedures and analytics.
• Visit jobsites to support scheduling.
• Prepare as-built schedules reflecting actual conditions.
• Maintain SOLV P6 database with codes and file management.
• Support reporting while maintaining core schedule structure.
• Handle additional initiatives as assigned by the senior scheduler.
