Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler to develop and maintain integrated EPC schedules for PV solar, battery storage, and substations. The role is fully remote in the U.S., with travel to regional jobsites as needed to lead scheduling efforts and coordinate with engineering, procurement and field teams.

You will use P6 to create schedules, analyze documents, perform quantity take-offs, update progress, and present schedule reports.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years project engineering or related experience.
• Experience scheduling for construction projects specific to HV, Substations, or other electrical features.
• Prior Scheduling experience in an EPC environment is highly desired.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Experience using P6 Software required.
• Knowledge of construction methods and processes.
• Construction-related scheduling experience - Critical Path Method.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including business writing skills, and professional telephone manner.
• Reliability, dependability and flexibility.
• Ability to travel to jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Use P6 to develop and maintain EPC project schedules.
• Assist in planning the project by analyzing documents and drawings.
• Perform basic quantity take-offs to establish activity durations.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, PM and field teams.
• Seek feedback from stakeholders to increase schedule buy-in.
• Ensure sound CPM logic and realistic durations.
• Attend project meetings and provide schedule updates.
• Update schedule at least twice a month and monitor deviations.
• Communicate updates and maintain reports in Teams/SharePoint.
• Maintain delay log and record weather delays monthly.
• Perform what-if analyses and change orders.
• Train field personnel in scheduling procedures.
• Visit jobsites to support scheduling.
• Prepare as-built schedules reflecting actual dates.
