Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler to develop and maintain EPC schedules for PV solar projects. This fully remote role requires travel to jobsites in the region and coordination with engineering, procurement, PM, and field teams.

The ideal candidate has a 3+ year background in construction scheduling, experience with P6, and the ability to read plans and specifications. Position supports diverse projects nationwide with flexible location details discussed during interviews.

Qualifications

• Engineering/Construction degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years in project engineering or related field.
• Experience scheduling construction HV/substations or electrical.
• Experience in EPC environment preferred.
• Proficient in reading plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Use P6 to develop and maintain EPC project schedules.
• Analyze project docs and drawings to build the schedule.
• Perform quantity take-offs to estimate activity durations.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, PM, and field teams.
• Seek stakeholder feedback to improve buy-in and accuracy.
• Ensure CPM logic and realistic durations in schedules.
• Attend meetings to capture updates and address schedule issues.
• Update schedule at least twice monthly and monitor critical path.
• Share schedule updates and maintain reports in Teams/SharePoint.
• Maintain delay logs from BD to project completion.
• Record weather delays against NOAA monthly.
• Perform what-if analyses and change orders.
• Train field personnel on scheduling procedures.
• Visit jobsites to support scheduling activities.
• Prepare as-built schedules reflecting actual dates.
• Maintain SOLV P6 database with codes and notes.
• Support reporting while preserving core structure.
• Take on other tasks from senior scheduler.
