Job summary

Array Tech, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager - Utility Solar to drive sales to EPCs, developers, and IPPs from a home office anywhere in the U.S. The role requires understanding customer needs, defining requirements, prioritizing requests, and identifying new value opportunities for Array.

The candidate will lead RFQ responses, develop proposals, and coordinate with sales and product teams to deliver differentiated economic value and maintain market share.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical sales.
• Experience in the solar, renewables, or power generation equipment market is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell Array Technologies’ Product and Services to Solar EPCs, Developers and IPPs.
• Strengthen Array's existing customer relationships by understanding customer objectives and how Array can support them.
• Create and manage annual sales plan for Array's customers.
• Ensure customers and industry players understand Array's product differentiation and economic value proposition.
• Be ahead of the curve in understanding upcoming customer activities and projects.
• Understand in depth each prospective customer’s concerns and decision variables.
• Lead Array's response to RFQ’s and close sales.
• Define and develop proposals for Array products to maintain or enhance market share.
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to address challenging customer requirements or field issues.
