Zero To One Strategic is seeking a Technical SR&ED Writer with deep software knowledge to craft audit-ready SR&ED narratives for R&D projects in ML, cloud, embedded systems, and enterprise software. You will interview engineers, translate complex ideas into clear reports, and ensure CRA compliance.
Your background includes a Bachelor’s in CS or related field and 2+ years of SR&ED writing experience, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote-first setup.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- 2+ years of SR&ED claims writing experience.
- Excellent writing, editing, and research skills.
- Strong grasp of software development lifecycles, system architecture, algorithms, and technical experimentation.
- Ability to manage deadlines and navigate ambiguity with precision and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Own the Technical Narrative: Write CRA-compliant SR&ED reports.
- Lead Developer Interviews: Extract R&D elements from engineers and CTOs.
- Collaborate with project managers and financial staff to align stories with eligible expenditures.
- Translate complex software concepts into clear, plain language without losing depth.
- Ensure CRA SR&ED compliance and up-to-date standards.
