Role Description:

We’re seeking an Engineering Editorial Writer/Editor to translate world-class technical work into clear, compelling stories for external technical audiences. This role partners closely with engineers, as well as product, comms, and other cross-functional partners to shape highly technical blog posts from first concept to final publish—identifying the strongest technical narratives, sharpening structure and argumentation, breaking-down complexity without diluting rigor, and elevating every piece to a world class editorial bar.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with engineers and technical leaders to identify and develop the most newsworthy, substantive technical stories.
• Build clear narratives from complex source material, interviews, drafts, data, and internal docs.
• Edit for structure, precision, voice, and readability while preserving technical accuracy.
• Translate advanced engineering concepts for both expert and broader technical audiences.
• Raise the quality bar for flagship engineering blogs that represent company externally.
• Identify recurring themes and editorial opportunities across frontier systems, infrastructure, and products.
• Manage end-to-end editorial process: intake, outlining, drafting support, refinement, visual development, reviews, approvals, and launch readiness.
• Ensure every post reflects the inventiveness, rigor, and pace of innovation inside company.
