Job summary

Topcon Positioning Group is seeking a Software Sales Account Manager to own the full sales cycle for Autodesk construction solutions. This remote outside sales role covers eastern WA and north ID, with a base pay range and commission opportunities, and frequent travel to meet customers and trade shows.

You will prospect, build a pipeline, and close deals by demonstrating value to Architects, Engineers, Contractors and Owners. A BS and 1–5 years sales experience in the AEC space are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1–5 years of sales experience (AEC industry experience strongly preferred).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Competitive, self-motivated, high-energy, and results-driven.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
• Willingness and ability to quickly learn Autodesk products and the AEC industry.
• A proven track record of achieving personal and professional goals.

Responsibilities

• Generate qualified leads, win new business, and expand relationships with existing customers.
• Prospect daily via phone, email, and targeted outreach (30+ calls per day).
• Build, manage, and nurture your pipeline using CRM tools.
• Research market opportunities and develop strategic sales plans.
• Clearly articulate and demonstrate the value of Autodesk construction solutions.
• Create excitement and enthusiasm among prospects through consultative selling.
• Attend trade shows, customer events, and marketing activities.
• Cultivate long-term, trusted customer relationships.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Solve customer challenges, sometimes with limited guidance, using creativity and initiative.
