Job summary

Allegion is seeking a Product Support Representative – Software for a flexible remote role in New Jersey. You will troubleshoot customer inquiries, learn mechanical, electronic, and software Allegion products, and collaborate with technical services, sales, and operations.

The role supports distributors, facility managers, locksmiths, IT leaders, and other clients. You will work with cross-functional teams, resolve issues, document solutions in the CRM, and ensure service level agreements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related industry and/or customer service experience.
• HS Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical/electronic products and testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop a basic understanding of Allegion products including mobile apps, networking components, and credentials.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and provide positive customer experiences via phone or electronic channels.
• Identify customer needs and explain intermediate solutions clearly.
• Perform root-cause analysis of products returned by customers.
• Populate CRM and knowledge base with solutions; create service requests as needed.
