Job summary

Allegion is seeking a Product Support Representative - Software for a remote role based in New Jersey. The candidate will troubleshoot technical problems, interact with internal teams (technical services, customer service, sales, operations) and external customers (distributors, facility managers, locksmiths, IT leaders).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related industry and/or customer service experience.
• Basic knowledge of access control concepts; proxy, smart, and mobile credentials; and troubleshooting preferred.
• HS Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a basic understanding of Allegion product portfolio including mobile device apps, networking components, user credentials, and electronic devices.
• Provide positive customer experiences by troubleshooting technical problems via phone, email, or messaging.
• Perform root-cause analysis of products returned from customers and escalate as needed.
