Job summary

Jobgether seeks an engineering leader to build and mentor a software team in the United States. You will drive recruitment, guide architecture, and contribute hands-on Python work to deliver reliable automation and production systems.

You will champion CI/CD, testing, and security practices, collaborate with operations and executives, and ensure HIPAA-compliant engineering processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Minimum of two years in an engineering management or team leadership role.
• Strong Python development skills for production-grade automation.
• Experience leading engineers at different seniority levels.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development practices.
• Deep understanding of healthcare privacy and security (HIPAA, HITRUST).
• Ability to guide architecture and manage technical debt.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers across junior to senior levels.
• Own recruitment lifecycle and team development.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and guide architecture.
• Own delivery: manage priorities, blockers, and risk.
• Maintain code quality through reviews and standards.
• Lead agile ceremonies and improve delivery practices.
• Establish engineering standards for CI/CD, testing, security.
• Ensure healthcare compliance and data security.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs.
