Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Software Engineering Manager in the United States to lead engineers in building reliable automation for healthcare revenue cycle management using Python, Selenium, OpenCV, and Azure.

You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and ensure HIPAA/HITRUST compliance while delivering high-quality software through agile practices. The role emphasizes scalable systems and collaboration with clinical and operations teams.

Qualifications

• At least seven years of professional software development experience, including a minimum of two years in an engineering management or team leadership role.
• Strong Python skills with production-grade automation experience.
• Experience managing engineers across different seniority levels, balancing technical direction with people development.
• Solid understanding of software automation and healthcare technology landscapes.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development practices including code reviews.
• Knowledge of healthcare privacy and security requirements (HIPAA/HITRUST).
• Experience delivering end-to-end software or automation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop engineering talent across junior, mid-level, and senior engineers.
• Own the engineering recruitment lifecycle and team development.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership in architecture, design reviews, and code evaluation.
• Own delivery—set priorities, remove blockers, manage risks, ensure on-time delivery and compliance.
• Maintain code quality through PR reviews, coding standards, and testing discipline.
• Lead agile development—plan sprints, run daily standups, retrospectives, and iterative delivery.
• Establish engineering standards for CI/CD, testing, documentation, security, and observability.
• Ensure HIPAA/HITRUST compliance and privacy considerations in everyday engineering work.
• Partner with operations, clinical, and executive stakeholders to translate business needs into technical priorities.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation reliability, velocity, and efficiency.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery and roadmap discussions; evaluate Azure tools and ML capabilities.
