Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, and support reliable software solutions that serve health systems nationwide. You will translate requirements into maintainable code, contribute to technical design, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable software.

The ideal candidate has strong fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• HHands-on experience developing and supporting production applications with modern stacks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and Infrastructure as Code; Terraform preferred.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and containerization (Docker) or cloud-native patterns.
• Experience developing or supporting REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Understanding of DevOps fundamentals, including testing, telemetry, security, and iterative delivery.
• Strong communication and collaboration across globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, maintain, and continuously improve production-grade software.
• Translate product concepts and business requirements into technical designs and commitments.
• Contribute to solution design in alignment with architecture, security, scalability, and operational needs.
• Develop reusable components, frameworks, and tooling to improve delivery efficiency.
• Participate in design sessions, code reviews, and troubleshooting; escalate complex issues.
• Ensure code quality, performance, reliability, and production readiness.
• Apply automated testing, CI/CD, IaC, telemetry, and observability practices.
