The role is remote within the United States and reports to the Senior Director of Engineering. You will coach engineers, own commitments, and ensure SOX/SOC 2 controls, scalable microservices, and reliable cloud services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years in an engineering leadership role.
• Experience leading and growing engineering teams.
• Broad frontend and backend tech experience across web stack.
• Experience with cloud services and scalable microservices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop software engineering teams.
• Manage vendor teams and partnerships to support delivery.
• Own team commitments and ensure high-quality delivery on time.
• Translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Communicate decisions and status to stakeholders clearly.
• Shape architecture with web apps, microservices, databases, AWS, and CI/CD.
