Job summary

One Call is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our remote-first team. You will design, code, test, and maintain software used by internal partners and external customers, collaborating with product managers and analysts to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, 2–5 years in development, and strong communication skills. We emphasize our core values as you contribute to a mission of helping injured workers get care

Qualifications

• Knowledge of end-to-end SDLC methodologies (waterfall, iterative, agile).
• Excellent verbal and written communication to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with diverse staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides application software development services or technical support on defined projects.
• Follows SDLC standards and writes/maintains documentation.
• Develops and tests program logic; analyzes and modifies existing applications.
• Ensures system improvements are implemented and maintains components.
• Translates business requirements into product designs; writes technical specifications.
