Job summary

One Call is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our remote-first team. You will design, code, test, and maintain software used by internal partners and external customers, collaborating with business analysts and product managers to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides application software development services or technical support in defined projects.
• Follows One Call SDLC Standards.
• Develops program logic for new applications or modifies existing logic.
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications.
• Maintains, tests and integrates application components.
• Ensures system improvements are implemented successfully.
• Demonstrates understanding of One Call systems and the workers' compensation industry.
• Participates in planning and analysis phases of SD projects.
• Translates business requirements into product designs and documents technical specs.
• Suggests technical alternatives and improves processes.
• Completes projects and special tasks commensurate with job level.
